"Hip Trip" - A Special "International Women's Day" Tale

Today is Friday, March 8, and all over the world, we're celebrating "International Women's Day".  As a result, I have decided that I will be featuring a story starring women and promoting female empowerment.  And when I say I'll be featuring a story, I mean the WHOLE story.  I don't usually do this, but since this story is quite good, I thought, why not?

And I can't think of a better family to spotlight than the Cooper women.  Betty and Polly Cooper, as well as a cameo appearance from Mrs. Cooper.  This is a feel good story about when Betty visits Polly in San Francisco, California, and how that visit helps make Betty feel like a stronger woman.

The original source of this story comes from "Betty's Diary #33", but has also been reprinted in several sources since.  If you have a copy of the Archie and Friends All-Stars graphic novel, The Best of Betty's Diary, this story can be found there.  It's where I got these photos from...and once again, I apologize for the quality of the images, as my scanner is still broken.
